——A Report on NIDE's "Little Scientists: A Wonderful Journey of Motor Exploration"

On the afternoon of August 26, NIDE Group welcomed a group of young guests: 36 students from the elementary division of Huifeng Academy and their parents visited NIDE to embark on a unique journey of motor exploration. Organized and executed by the Brand Operations Department, this event involved close collaboration across multiple departments, including Administration, R&D, Manufacturing, and the International Equipment & Components Division. From the tour itinerary to safety protocols, and from the DIY experiments to the refreshment break, all colleagues meticulously prepared and worked in perfect harmony to ensure the event's smooth and successful execution.

Science Education and Inspiration: From the "Mother of Industry" to the "Dream of a Strong Nation"

At the request of Chairman Lin, General Manager Kong introduced to the visiting students the significant role of electric motors—often referred to as the "Mother of Industry"—in daily life and national industry, as well as the contributions NIDE, as a "one-stop provider of smart motor manufacturing solutions," has made to the motor industry and the manufacturing sector. Using Tesla and Elon Musk as examples, he encouraged the students to remain curious, hold onto their dreams, and dare to explore, noting that becoming a scientist or engineer is an excellent life choice and career path. He emphasized that "a strong youth leads to a strong nation, and a strong science and technology sector leads to a strong nation," urging the students to study scientific knowledge diligently and courageously pursue their dreams.

A Journey of Discovery: Getting Up Close and Personal with Smart Motor Manufacturing

Led by tour guides and engineers, the children entered the workshop and exhibition hall, embarking on a "wonderful journey of motor exploration" full of surprises. The students observed the motor production process up close, witnessed a spectacular demonstration of a robotic arm writing "NIDE," and marveled at the precision and efficiency of the automated equipment. Watching equipment such as slotting machines, winding machines, and wire-inserting machines in operation gave the children a firsthand sense of the precision and rigor involved in smart motor manufacturing. The tour of the exhibition hall provided them with an understanding of NIDE's development history and global footprint. The children exclaimed excitedly, "This is amazing!" and "It's just like a sci-fi movie!"—the atmosphere was electric, and their laughter and joy infused the production workshop with an extraordinary vitality and energy.

Interactive Experience: Science Is All Around Us

Shi Yingdi from the Brand Operations Department used animations and images to explain to the children that motors are the "heart" that drives machines, and that every piece of equipment manufactured by NIDE acts like a "super mini-craftsman," capable of automatically, precisely, and efficiently producing and assembling motor components. Motors not only power the fans, washing machines, and electric toys in everyone's daily lives, but also demonstrate boundless potential in cutting-edge fields such as humanoid robots, vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, drones, new energy vehicles, and wind power generation. Through these interactive exchanges, the children let their imaginations soar even further: perhaps one day, motors they design themselves will power a brand-new next-generation robot or help aircraft explore the vastness of space. Such innocent daydreams may well be the first step toward becoming a scientist.

During the DIY experiment session, the children assembled mini electric fans under the guidance of four engineers from the Technology Department, including Liu Chang. As the fans began to spin, cheers erupted from the crowd. This hands-on experience allowed them to see firsthand that "science is all around us," while also letting them enjoy the fun of creating something with their own hands, further igniting their passion for exploring science and technology. The subsequent "Little Scientist" certificate ceremony and raffle turned this curiosity and spirit of exploration into a cherished memento.

Before the event ended, the children reluctantly took photos with their "big brothers" and "big sisters" and said their goodbyes, asking them to sign their certificates of honor. Ms. Dai, who organized the event, said, "This event not only gave the children a chance to visit NIDE and learn about electric motors, but also allowed them to experience the professionalism and dedication of the NIDE team. It's truly remarkable to be able to explain complex technology in a way that children can understand and enjoy, leaving both the children and their parents feeling enriched and full of praise."

This event was not only a fascinating journey into science, but also a vivid lesson that closely integrated "science education" with "social responsibility." While the children gained knowledge and enjoyment through exploration, the parents, by accompanying them, came to appreciate the profound significance of science education and witnessed NIDE's initiatives and efforts in fulfilling its social responsibilities.
